Meet Dr. Lisa Murray

"Since 1995, I have had the joyful privilege of caring for smiles. The thing I love most about being a general dentist is not the variety of interesting challenges I encounter every day. It is my patients and the opportunities I have for improving their lives. There are so many ways to improve someone’s oral health and the appearance of their smile. Amazingly, changing the way a smile looks can change the way someone feels about their self-worth, their sense of self-confidence, and their overall sense of well-being."

Whatever your dental problem, Lisa J. Murray, DMD can be your solution for a lifetime! Call our South Hamilton, MA dental office today!

My team and I are open and up front with our patients about ourselves and our own lives. We respect who they are, the concerns they have, and their aspirations. The bonds we form can be quite deep. We feel so close to them and their families. Patients become a part of our lives and we become a part of theirs. The team here also enjoys each other’s company as much as we enjoy that of our patients. And, of course, we have a lot of fun, too! I think that is why our practice is such a positive, relaxed place to visit.

My team and I always strive to provide comfortable, high-quality, painless, and worry-free dentistry. I believe my patients deserve the best possible care.

Education

My educational  background includes:

Continuing Education

Continuing education is the most effective means of ensuring that I remain aware of advances in dental technology and dental best practices. It is essential, if I am to offer superior care to those I serve.  Consequently, I am actively involved in continuing education. I am also currently involved with Spear Education and the Scottsdale Center for Advanced Dentistry. This focuses on everything from addressing the comprehensive dental needs of my patients to ensuring the overall professional excellence of my practice.

Professional Associations

Professional memberships offer those within a field numerous means for advancing their skills and broadening their knowledge. Access to research allows them to stay in touch with the newest developments in best practices, research, and technology. It also allows them access to collective knowledge allowing them to work together to confront challenges they face. As a long time member of the Academy of General Dentistry, I believe membership demonstrates a commitment to lifelong learning and quality continuing education. I also work closely with Spear Practice Solutions. This body assists dental professionals in utilizing progressive management techniques, structures, and approaches as a way to improve the quality of care our patients receive. I am also a member of the Alliance of Indepedent Dentists - Massachusetts which educates dental professionals and the public about why independently owned practices (owned by dentists and not private equity/corporations) are in everyone's best interest.

At Home and Away from Work

Originally a South Shore native and a city girl for many years, recently my sweetheart and I have purchased a home together in the suburbs. Together we are working on home improvement projects when we're not golfing. We have two sweet kittens, Murphy & Marley, who are brothers and love to wrestle. In my spare time, I enjoy being in the great outdoors, hiking, biking, golfing, snowshoeing, skiing, or getting lost in a good book at the beach.

Family and Community Member

I truly value being part of our community and believe it very important for all of us to participate in local activities. For example, I have run the Boston Marathon twice to raise money for the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in memory of my cousin, Jenny.
