Dr. Murray???s New Zealand Vacation

I had a great time visiting the gorgeous country of New Zealand with my friend, Fleur, who is a Kiwi. She had the whole trip planned, all I had to do was show up!

We started on the North Island with a natural geothermal hot spring soak (which was great after 24 hrs of traveling). Then, we visited her mom in Cambridge and had lunch at Lake Taupo. We spent a weekend in Napier for the Art Deco weekend where we played like it was the 1920's.

Next, we drove to the Wellington area to visit with her dad and relaxed while planning our next move. He took us to the South Island where we did guided hiking, kayaking, and a three day camping tour in the stunning Abel Tasman National Park.

Fleur and I continued along the southwest coast doing hikes and sightseeing until we reached Fiordland National Park to visit the Milford and Doubtful Sounds. Mother Nature at her best! I ended my three-week whirlwind tour in Queenstown with some great food, scenery, and zip lining.

I am so thankful for this incredible time that gave me an opportunity to relax and refresh so that I can be the best possible practitioner to my patients!
